A Little Bit About ARBORTEX™ Wood Sealer & Stain: ARBORTEX™ was originally developed by Post Woodworking, Inc., to keep our display buildings in good condition year after year. After trying all of the top brands of sealer and stain on the market, we found that we had to restain every year: we could not find one that would give us long-lasting results. We wanted a stain that was a sealer and stain in one, would be able to make water bead, would have an exceptional ability to protect against ultraviolet light, would have an outstanding ability to inhibit mildew, would be easy to use, would be oil based for the best quality, yet, at the same time, must be easy to clean up with soap and water. Finally, we wanted a product that was environmentally friendly. Next, we hired a chemist and after three years of research and development we created the ARBORTEX™ Wood Sealer & Stain formula.
