Superior Support and Strength

Engineered Trusses Exceed Load Requirements
Support & Strength
Post Woodworking puts a lot of care into each and every structure we build, to ensure your building provides many years of enjoyment. Solid support is built into every design, to ensure not only a level floor, an unprecedented level of support in the middle of your shed, where you place the most items! We place 8” x 16” concrete blocks on your site, then level the floor plates constructed of pressure-treated 2×6′ beams and surrounding rim joist. Different from any of our competitor sheds, every Post Woodworking outdoor building is superior in strength. Materials
Post Woodworking sheds are available in a variety of exterior finishes to complement any design scheme. Select from a wide variety of colors in durable, low maintenance vinyl or wood finishes including natural cedar, pine and T-111. Whatever your preferences are, Post Woodworking premium materials make for a long-lasting garden shed and enjoyment for years to come. You may prefer the beauty of a natural cedar finish, or select from a wide variety of colors in durable, low maintenance vinyl. We know colors and appearance are personal, so we bring a variety of selection to you. Lastly, we install Limited Lifetime architectural shingles and aluminum drip edges to add the finishing touch and protect the building from rain and snow. Delivery & Installation
On your appointed delivery day, your building will arrive pre-fabricated on a flatbed truck and trailer. The PWI installation team leader will assist you in determining the best location for your new building. Once the location is determined, the installation team will off load all the components and tools necessary for assembly. The floor will be placed on its concrete foundation blocks and precisely leveled to ensure a perfect fit for all of the components. Next, walls are secured to the floor and each other with galvanized spikes. The roof is then installed using engineered trusses and top quality ½” plywood. Lastly, we install Limited Lifetime Warranty architectural shingles and aluminum drip edges to add the finishing touch and protect the building from rain and snow. After all the trim is applied, the team will collect all tools and any debris, leaving your yard as we found it – except better, with the addition of your new storage structure, ready for years of use and enjoyment! Upon completion of the installation, the balance of your payment is due. Post Woodworking accepts MC, Visa, Discover or a personal check. Finally you will receive an Owner’s Manual. Permits
What is a Building Permit? A “building permit” is a certificate that may have to be obtained from your local municipality by the property owner. Will I Need One? Building permits are not always required. It is your responsibility to check with your local office in your town for the regulations and specifications in your area. You can obtain a permit application from your municipal office. Give us a call if you have questions about the list of requirements you must fulfill in order to receive a building permit.
