Custom Sheds
Your Design. Your Shed.
Want a shed that’s a little more complex, a little more unique, a little more you? Our investment in advanced automation technologies means that we can build a ton of sheds. It also means that we can customize those sheds. Each and every one. Here are just a few ways we can do that:
• Two Story Sheds
• Extended Roofing
• Extra Large Sizes
• Architectural Matching
• Custom Window and Door Treatments
We at Post Woodworking are proud of our buildings. This pride comes from customer satisfaction. When the installation is complete, please inspect the building with the installers to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Cape Ann
The Cape Ann Shed was designed with coastal New England in mind. From Cape Cod to the beaches of Maine, you will find a Cape Ann shed from Post Woodworking adorning the yards of thousands of homes.
The Cape Ann is functional, affordable and classic. It is one of our more popular styles, as it fits almost any yard layout or home design. By making the Cape Ann shed your choice, you place classic style in your backyard.
Concord Carriage
The Concord Carriage was designed with old New England at heart. Modeled after a traditional carriage shed building style, you can find structures of the same design in Massachusetts today. One of the reasons that this shed is selected is its timeless design. We have also had this shed custom built as a horse-run-in, as it fits the classic New England look.
The options that can be selected are as varied as they are useful. The Concord Carriage shed can be modified with a wide variety of options and colors. Talk with Karen or Christa to learn about specialized design options.
Gambrel
Traditional barn. That is the first thought that should run through your mind when you look at our Gambrel shed. Customers looking for a more rustic storage solution may find their need filled by the Gambrel shed. The multi-angled roof allows for more overhead storage and useable wall space. You can also upgrade all our sheds with 5 double 5/8″ flooring for added support.
One of the more popular options with the Gambrel shed is a garage door. This door setup will present multiple options for moving items into and out of the shed, making it ideal for motorcycles, lawn tractors and snowblowers. We have even had customers pour a slab for the shed to rest on so that they can use it as a garage.
Lexington
Our Lexington model was designed to match many traditional New England homes. The steep pitch of the roof is designed to handle punishing New England snow loads. Today, many new homes are being built with this aggressive and visually attractive roof pitch. We can match most vinyl siding colors, so that your shed will coordinate with your home. If you home is painted, we do offer wood siding options in Pine, T-111 and Cedar.
Various architectural enhancements can also be used to improve this specific style, such as gable dormers and shed dormers. The farmers porch is also a very popular option, as it turns this beautiful storage shed into a great place to enjoy a passing summer storm. If you are planning to use your shed at night, you may want to consider a solar shed light.
Cohasset Shed
Barn or shed? The Cohasset is both. Using the styling of a barn with the size of a shed, we have created a new style that fits almost any yard. You do not need to plan out hundreds of square feet to have a storage solution with the look you want to match your home. The Cohasset shed features a sliding barn door, which is perfect for areas that experience a lot of snow or do not have the space for double doors.

SHEDS ARE OUR TRADITION
In 1962, when Russell “Bud” Post came out of the U.S. Army, he built a couple of storage sheds, and then he built a few more. The backyard business became known as R. POST SMALL BUILDINGS, with a couple of local guys helping out.
Bud’s quality, creativity and attention to detail became renowned and grew quickly. Today, Post Woodworking, Inc. is the largest manufacturer of storage sheds in New England, supplying dealers throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Westchester & Putnam Counties in New York.

THE POST FAMILY
Post Woodworking is now being led by Dan,Paul & Mark, whom between them have decades of experience in the shed manufacturing industry.
Being family owned means that the quality of our sheds and customer service is backed by our name. Every member of the Post Woodworking team is like family, as the average employee has 15 years of experience with our company. Since we produce thousands of sheds per year, that 15 years adds up to a lot of sheds.
